A Mail2Sign rule can be configured to send a BoxSign preparation URL back to the sender. The URL allows the sender to prepare documents for BoxSign before delivering them to signing participants. Senders will be taken to the BoxSign document preparation user interface, where they can position signer fields, add copy recipients, etc.

Enabling BoxSign Preparation links

To enable this feature, select the following the recipient signing option that requires document preparation:

With this option selected, when documents are sent without tags (Using Box Sign Template Tags‍) or sent with insufficient tags for the number of recipients (To), Mail2Sign will send the sender an email with the BoxSign preparation URL - see animation below.

If an email attachment not pre-prepared with Box tags (see Using Box Sign Template Tags) is sent for signing, the sender will receive a Box link to prepare the document before delivery.
