Overview

On occasion the authentication grant you provided Chat for Email may expire or be revoked. This may happen for a variety of reasons. If it does happen, Chat for Email will send you an email alerting you that it can no longer update with your latest email messages. To remediate the issue, you will need to re-authenticate the service.

Re-authenticating

Step by Step

Here is a step-by-guide for re-authenticating your ChatGPT Chat for Email account:

1. Access: https://chat.openai.com

2. Login to ChatGPT with your email account

3. Enter Chat for Email GPT in ChatGPT

4. Select “Privacy Settings”

5. Select “Connected accounts”

6. Click the button “Log in”
Note: if it says “Log out”, click it and then click again when it says “Log in”

7. Continue through the setup process. If your Chat for Email account already has email messages, the system will continue collecting from the date it left off.
