Why Your Email Signature May Not Be Valid

When our system checks the digital signature on your email, it may fail validation for the following reasons:

Common Validation Failures

1. Email Not Digitally Signed

  • The email was sent without a digital signature
  • The sender did not use email signing software
  • The email security features were not enabled when sending

2. Invalid or Corrupted Signature

  • The digital signature is damaged or incomplete
  • The signature data became corrupted during transmission
  • The email was modified after it was signed
  • The cryptographic verification failed

3. Certificate Problems

  • The digital certificate used to sign the email is corrupted
  • The certificate data cannot be read by our system
  • The certificate information is incomplete or malformed

4. Wrong Email Format

  • The email format is not compatible with our security standards
  • The email structure does not meet digital signature requirements
  • The email type is not recognized as a signed message

5. Technical Processing Errors

  • Our system encountered an error while checking the signature
  • The email structure could not be properly analyzed
  • Unexpected issues occurred during the security verification process

Recommended Actions

  • If you find and email that you believe it should be valid, please reach support with the email to further evaluation.
